Ultimate Giant Arma - Guide

What it is?

Alongside Act9.2, that new raid will allow you to farm for your SP11 and more.

You can only do 20 raids a day, which means it's intended as a daily activity like Elemental raids.

How can I get seals?

You can craft the seals at Undercity Alchemist Assosiaction using 2x skill-icon Scrap Metal and 10x skill-icon Fairystone.

Raid Mechanics

Teleport skills are disabled in arma due to potential room skiping. You can start the raid at the same place than regular Arma raid.

Prerooms

The raid consist of 5 stages all in the same map.

At the start of the raid, the team is randomly split into two and they get placed into right or left platforms of Area 1.
The goal here is to kill all the monsters. Once both teams clear their area, the portal to the next platform will spawn.

The second stage is similar to the first one, with different mobs and a miniboss Giant Arma MPM.
Both teams killing all the monsters spawns the portal to the next platform.

On the third area, you only need to kill a miniboss, AI Robot Commander.
Killing this miniboss will clear all the other mobs, so you don't need to waste time with them.
When both teams have defeated the miniboss, the next portal spawns and the two teams are united on the fourth area.

There is nothing to do on fourth area, except for preparing for the boss if you wish to.
The portal to boss area spawns shortly thereafter.

Boss Mechanics

The Ultimate Giant Arma has four skills, some of which are very similar or identical to Giant Arma's skills.

  • Emergancy Heal: Arma cleanses all debuffs on it up to level 5, and gives itself Self-Repair Mode.
  • Rockets: Arma releases twelve rocket missiles to target every character. You need to dodge the red circles before the rockets fall on you. They also leave an electric field behind for some time, which deals 7000 damage every 2 seconds.
  • Lasers: Arma shoots deadly lasers in four cardinal directions. These lasers deal full HP damage so getting out of their way is vital. It then teleports randomly and casting its lasers again. He stops teleporting after fourth lasers.
  • Motion Detection Bombs: Arma targets half the alive players with a Motion Detection Bomb like in Giant Arma. This debuff lasts 6 seconds and moving or attacking after 3 seconds results in instant death.

There is also a unique mechanic triggered when Ultimate Giant Arma has only 20% HP left. Arma gives itself Invincibility Shield and spawns electric boxes.
The number of electric boxes depends on how many participants there are in the raid, more specifically 90% of it.
So, for example, in a raid of 12 players, Arma spawns 12x0.9=10 boxes.

These boxes have either a negative or a positive charge. Players are also given Positive Charge and Negative Charge buffs, which enable to attack their respective boxes.
The boxes take percentage-based damage and must be eliminated by the players, as NosMates cannot attack them.

After breaking the boxes, you also need to stand in the electric area created by the box.
Once every box is defeated, and the electric areas are filled with correctly charged players, the timer stops and Arma receives Fear of Failure, which disables his skills.
If players cannot manage to complete the box mechanic successfully, the Arma is healed to full health.
But this mechanic will only trigger once, meaning getting Arma back to 20% HP after full heal does not trigger box mechanic again.

Recommendations for the Raid

  • It is recommended to go with equipment of hero level c90 r7-r8+8+9+10.
  • Options of shells like:
    • S- Increased Overall Attack: x%
    • S- Increased Damage to High-Level Races: x%
Reminder
  • Increased Damage to Monster Races: x% won't work on act 9 bosses, since they are withered plants or rusty robots.
  • Use the skill-icon Twilight Gem III as resistances drain is one of the best stats for raiding/PvE.
    Note that all other PvE related major Trophies of each class in tier III are viable for this raid as well.

  • Useful partner for debuff would be:

        There's a 100% chance the incoming damage from elemental attacks will be increased by 10%.

        Flat all elemental damage are reduced by 10%.

        Every 2 seconds HP is reduced by (Level * 8).
