How a run works
- Pick a tier. Talk to the Score Board in Nosville. Its starter window shows each tier and how many runs you have left this week. The same NPC opens Discovery, which lists every node you have cleared, and the Leaderboard. Starting a run uses one of that tier's weekly runs.
- Pick a Sound Flower. Each node starts with 3 Sound Flowers near the entrance. Click one to get its effect for that node. The node's monsters appear only after you pick.
- Clear four nodes. Each node is a short challenge with one objective, shown in the Expedition panel. Nodes are drawn at random and never repeat within a run. Complete one and its exit portal takes you to the next.
- Beat the final node. The fifth node always ends on a boss.
- Collect the pool. Every node adds its reward to the reward pool in the Expedition panel. The whole pool is paid out when you clear the final node.
You have 30 minutes to clear a run.
Sound Flowers
At the start of every node, 3 different flowers out of these 9 are drawn at random. Check which node you are in before you pick: the best flower depends on its monsters. The effect lasts until you leave the node.
Red Sound FlowerEvery monster becomes Fire
Blue Sound FlowerEvery monster becomes Water
White Sound FlowerEvery monster becomes Light
Black Sound FlowerEvery monster becomes Shadow
Grey Sound FlowerLowers every monster's element resistances
Green Sound FlowerMore damage to low-level races
Gold Sound FlowerMore damage to high-level races
Sky Sound FlowerMore movement speed
Orange Sound FlowerShorter skill cooldowns
- Red, Blue, White and Black are the same on every tier.
- The other flowers are stronger on Mid and Hard. The pick window shows the exact value before you confirm.
- An effect on you stays after a revival or an SP change.

Rewards
Every node pays one fixed reward. Find a material to see which nodes pay it; the dot shows how often a node comes up. The most valuable materials come as Essences: tradable items you collect, then double-click to combine into the real thing.

Some effects can double Expedition rewards, such as the
Lumi pet and
the
Hades title: each item in the pool rolls once and can pay double.
End-of-run box
In about 1 run in 4, a box drops where the final boss dies. Open it before you leave: it adds one more item to your reward pool. A box left unopened is lost with the run.
There are four boxes. The rarer the box, the more you get of whatever it holds. Each box holds one item from this list.

Losing a run
If you die, leave or run out of time before the final node is cleared, the run ends and its reward pool is lost. The weekly run is still used: it counts when the run starts.
- Dying. Monsters in Expeditions rarely drop an Expedition Revival Potion. If you die while you have one, you are asked whether to use it. Yes revives you where you fell and the run goes on. No, or no answer within 30 seconds, ends the run. The potion is tradable.
- Disconnecting. Log back in on the same channel within 2 minutes and you are taken back to where you were. The monsters wait for you, but the 30 minutes keep counting. After 2 minutes the run is lost.
Tips
- Clear rooms in one go. A room's portals stay locked until everything in it is dead, so gather the whole room and kill it together.
- Kill support monsters first: the ones that buff or heal others, and anything that keeps summoning more. A monster that revives or calls in others speaks a line each time, so a speech bubble shows you which one to kill.
- Try different flowers. The best flower depends on the node and on your specialist. A flower that is weak in one node can be the best pick in another, so try different combinations.
