How do I start playing on Olympus?

Yes! Olympus is completely free to play. We offer optional cosmetic items and convenience features, but you can enjoy the full game experience without spending money.

What are the system requirements?
Operating System:
- ✅ Windows (Primary support)
- ✅ macOS (ARM CPUs like M1/M2/M3) - Works through Parallels Desktop
- ❌ Linux: not officially supported
Can I play on Mac?
Yes, but with limitations:
If you have an ARM-based Mac (M1, M2, M3 chips), you can play using Parallels Desktop:
- Install Parallels Desktop
- Create a Windows virtual machine
- Install Olympus inside the VM
- Play as normal
Running through virtualization may impact performance. A stable internet connection is recommended.
👤 Account Questions
Can I have multiple accounts?
No. You can only have ONE account on Olympus. Creating or using multiple accounts will result in all accounts being banned. See our Game Rules for more details.
I forgot my password. What should I do?
- Go to dashboard.olympusgg.com
- Click on "Forgot Password"
- Follow the instructions sent to your email
- If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder

Can I change my character name?
Character name changes may be available through in-game items or special events. Check the in-game shop or ask in Discord for current options.
🛠️ Technical Support
The game won't launch. What should I do?
Try these solutions:
- Run as Administrator - Right-click the game icon and select "Run as Administrator"
- Check antivirus - Add the game folder to your antivirus exceptions
- Update Windows - Make sure your OS is up to date
- Install DirectX - Download and install the latest DirectX runtime
- Reinstall the game - Download fresh files from the dashboard

I'm experiencing lag or connection issues
Try these steps:
- Check your internet - Make sure your connection is stable
- Close background programs - Free up bandwidth and resources
- Disable VPN - If you're using a VPN, try disabling it

- Check server status - Ask in Discord if others have issues

Where can I report bugs?
Report bugs to Game Masters (GMs) in-game or create a ticket on our Support Discord.
Include:
- Detailed description of the bug
- Steps to reproduce it
- Screenshots or videos if possible
You may receive a reward for reporting important bugs!

What happens if I break the rules?
Depending on the severity, you may receive:
- ⚠️ Warning
- 🔇 Mute (temporary chat ban)
- 🚫 Temporary ban
- ⛔ Permanent ban

I got banned. How can I appeal?
- Join our Support Discord
- Create a ban appeal ticket
- Explain your situation calmly and honestly
- Wait for staff response
You have 2 months to appeal after being banned. After that, appeals will not be accepted.
Are bots allowed?
No. Any form of automation including bots, macros, or third-party software is strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban. This is a zero-tolerance rule.

How do I purchase items?
- Go to dashboard.olympusgg.com
- Navigate to the shop section
- Choose your payment method
- Complete the purchase
- Items will be delivered to your in-game mailbox
Is it safe to donate?
Yes! All transactions are processed through secure payment providers. We never store your payment information.
Can I get a refund?
Refund policies depend on the situation. For refund requests, create a ticket on Support Discord with your transaction details.

Never share your password with anyone, including staff. Real GMs will never ask for your password.
Can I become a staff member?
We occasionally open applications for staff positions. Announcements are made on Discord.
Requirements typically include:
- Active player with good reputation
- No punishment history
- Good communication skills
- Time commitment availability
