Passive books provide permanent stat boosts to your character. Once learned, these bonuses stay active forever!
- Passive books give permanent stat increases (HP, MP, Attack, Defense, Stats)
- Hero level required to use each book
- Some books replace previous ones - higher tier versions overwrite lower tiers
- Obtained from raids, achievements, and specific monsters
- No limit on how many different passives you can have active
📖 What Are Passives?
Passives are books that teach your character permanent bonus stats. Unlike equipment that can break or be removed, passives are forever.
Types of Passives

Tier 2 books require the corresponding Tier 1 book to be learned first. When you learn a Tier 2 book, it replaces the Tier 1 book (you don't get both bonuses stacked).
Example: If you have +80 Strength (Tier 1) and learn +100 Strength (Tier 2), you'll have +100 total, not +180.

Obtained through Act 9 Achievements. These are the most powerful passives.

Act 9 "Base Stat" books require the corresponding Act 8 "Base Stat" book to be learned first. When you learn an Act 9 book, it replaces the Act 8 book.
Example: You need the +150 Strength (Act 8) before you can learn +200 Strength (Act 9). The final result will be +200, not +350.

Follow this path to maximize your passive bonuses:
Early Game (Hero Lv. 10-30)
- ✅ Get PvP books from Erenia/Zenas raids (if you PvP)

- ✅ Get EXP/Gold books from Angels II/Demons II achievements
- ✅ Complete daily quests for +4,000 HP/MP books
Mid Game (Hero Lv. 30-60)
- ✅ Upgrade to Tier 2 books (+100 stats) from Act 6.2
- ✅ Get +50 Attack/Defense books from Act 6.2
- ✅ Obtain +10 Elemental Resistance from Hero of Cylloan
- ✅ Farm Celestial Spire for Act 7 books (+120 stats, +7,000 HP/MP)
Late Game (Hero Lv. 60-80)

Do passives stack with each other?
Yes, but with exceptions:
- Different passive types stack (HP + Attack + Strength = all active)
- Same-tier stat books within an act don't replace each other
- Higher-tier books replace lower-tier books of the same type
Can I lose passives?
No. Once learned, passives are permanent and cannot be removed or lost.
What happens if I learn a higher-tier book?
The higher-tier book replaces the lower one. You only get the higher bonus, not both added together.
