Shell Options
Every option. Every range. Straight from the server.
Shells stamp bonus options onto your weapons and armour. This page is generated from the exact configuration the game rolls with — the value ranges, the slot layouts per rarity, and the level scaling are the real thing, not community lore.
⚙️ How a shell is rolled
Family
Every shell belongs to a family — Full, Special, PvP, Perfect or Half — that decides which kinds of options it can carry.
Rarity → layout
The item's rarity (1–8) fixes the exact slot layout: how many options you get and the grade (C/B/A/S) of each one.
Grade → range
Each slot picks a random option from its grade's pool, then rolls a value anywhere in that grade's range — the tables below show both ends.
Level → scaling
The roll is scaled by shell level: ⌊value × level / 100⌋. Champion gear counts as level 100; C81–C90 as 110. Results never drop to 0.
🎲 Betting rolls shells
Every successful bet re-rolls a fresh shell of a random family onto your gear — unless you bet with a
Protection Amulet (Only Rarity), which keeps the shell you have. On a Phenomenal (r8) result the family is always PvP or Perfect. See QoL — Upgrades.
🚫 No duplicates
One shell can never roll the same option twice — every slot picks from what's left of its pool.
🎯 50% bonus slots
Some slots (dashed in the layouts below) only have a 50% chance to roll at all — they're why two Perfect shells of the same rarity can have different option counts.
🛡️ Never breaks your gear
On Olympus, applying a shell cannot destroy the item — the official-server break risk is disabled. The new shell simply replaces the old options.
- "B — Gain more Fame: 35–50" on a level 70 armour rolls between ⌊35×70%⌋ = 24 and ⌊50×70%⌋ = 35.
- The same option on C90 champion armour (level 110) rolls between 38 and 55.
- "S — Increased Overall Attack: 12–16" on a C90 weapon caps at ⌊16×110%⌋ = 17.

What each shell rolls, by rarity
36 options can roll on weapon shells. The shell's family and the item's rarity fix the exact slot layout below — each chip is one option of that grade, picked at random from its pool (the same effect can never roll twice).
🐚 Where shells come from
On Olympus, shells aren't items anymore — they're rolled directly onto your equipment.
🎲 Betting
The main source: every successful bet wipes the old shell and rolls a fresh one at your gear's new rarity. A
Blessing Amulet (Random) makes the bet safe while still rolling a new shell; a
Protection Amulet (Only Rarity) (and the champion protection amulets) pushes rarity while keeping the shell you have. Full betting guide: QoL — Upgrades.
📦 Pre-rolled box gear
Equipment from most raid boxes arrives with a shell already rolled at the item's rarity — no extra step needed.
♻️ Re-rolling resets upgrades
Rolling a new shell over an upgraded one resets all Shell Upgrade progress to 0 — lock in the options you want before investing.
Push them further
Got the options you want? The Shell Upgrade System lets you enhance each option up to +2 — the best grade on your shell decides how far the whole item can go (C +2 · B +4 · A +6 · S +8).
